Ordering & payment

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard Minimum Order Quantity is 1 Metric Ton (MT) per SKU. However, we specialize in Full Container Load (FCL) shipments (both 20ft and 40ft containers). For new buyers looking to establish a relationship, we can accommodate smaller trial orders or consolidated containers containing multiple products.
Do you offer private label and custom packaging?
Yes, custom packaging, private labeling, and custom coding are core services we provide. We can package products in bulk sizes (25kg or 50kg PP, jute, or paper bags) as well as consumer-friendly packs (from 100g up to 5kg bags) matching your branding and design requirements.
What are your payment terms?
We offer flexible payment options to facilitate international trade. Our standard terms are Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) with a percentage advance and the balance against shipping documents, irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight, or Documents Against Payment (D/P) terms, depending on transaction history and credit approvals.
Can we request product samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes, we provide product samples free of charge for quality evaluation. However, courier and shipping fees are applicable and must be borne by the buyer. These courier charges can be adjusted against your first commercial invoice.

Shipping & documents

Which countries do you export to?
We export our products to over 40 countries across six continents. Our key markets include the USA, Canada, Australia, the UAE, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and various nations across Africa.
What trade terms (Incoterms) do you support?
We offer standard trade terms including FOB (Free On Board) Mumbai (Nhava Sheva Port), CFR (Cost and Freight), and CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) to your designated port of destination.
What is your average lead time for shipments?
Our standard processing and loading lead time is 7 to 10 working days from the date of official order confirmation and payment clearance. The total transit time varies based on the shipping line schedule and the destination port.
Do you handle Full Container Load (FCL) shipments?
Yes, FCL shipment is our specialization. We process and pack cargo for 20ft and 40ft dry containers. A 20ft container generally holds 15 to 20 Metric Tons depending on the bulk density of the commodity, while a 40ft container holds 25 to 28 Metric Tons.

Quality & certifications

What quality certifications do you hold?
Sunita Agri Exports holds ISO 22000:2018 (food safety), ISO 9001:2015 (quality), Kosher certification, an FSSAI Central Licence, APEDA registration, Spices Board registration and One Star Export House status from the Government of India. Copies are on our Certifications page. These standards guarantee food safety, process control, and regulatory compliance for global buyers.
What quality testing parameters do you perform?
We perform comprehensive testing for pesticide residues, mycotoxins (aflatoxins, ochratoxin), heavy metal concentrations, microbiological counts (Salmonella, E. coli), and physical purity. Tests are performed in our high-tech in-house laboratory and verified by NABL-accredited third-party laboratories.
Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with each batch?
Yes. Every single shipment is accompanied by a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (COA) generated by our laboratory. We also facilitate third-party pre-shipment inspections by independent agencies like SGS, Intertek, or Geo-Chem at the buyer's request.
What is steam sterilization, and why is it recommended?
Steam sterilization is a natural, chemical-free process that uses pressurized heat to eliminate microbial contaminants and pathogens in spices. Unlike chemical fumigation or irradiation, steam sterilization preserves the essential oils, natural flavor, color, and nutritional profile of the spices while extending shelf life.
Are your spices free from pesticide residues?
Yes, all our agricultural products are tested for pesticide residues. We ensure that our spice products comply with the strict Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) established by regulatory bodies in the EU, the FDA in the USA, and the destination country's laws.
